Situated to the south of Barton Road and owned by Welford Parish Council, Cress Hill as well as being a wooded site with picnic area and far reaching views, now also offers an opportunity for angling. As part of the Cress Hill regeneration project four new fishing stations are being installed together with a safe access path to the river bank. As a consequence of this development a Welford on Avon Angling Club is being formed. The Club is open to all ages and abilities.
