The following warning has been received from Binton Parish Council –Thieves cut into a builders van which had been parked on the hall car park yesterday lunchtime (20th April) and took thousands of pounds of tools.It was so blatant and opportunistic – wondered if you could get the word out to developers and builders working in Welford.

Unfortunately the board games afternoons held at the Memorial Hall every second Thursday in the month will be suspended until September due to unforseen circumstances.
The current garden waste collection service ends on 1st April, renewal for next year collections costs £42 per bin. There is a problem with the online payment system through the SDC website which they are working to resolve but payments can be made by credit/debit card over the phone on 01789 267575.
