Poachers / Hare Coursers

A male from the West Midlands area has been interviewed by police in relation to suspected poaching offences around South Warwickshire including the Alcester area. He has been issued with a Community Protection warning by police in conjunction with the local district council, which severely restricts his future behaviour, access to land and movement of his dogs. A second male connected to him will also receive an Anti-Social Behaviour warning letter  in relation to suspected poaching. Any further reports are being monitored by police and the most affected areas are being regularly patrolled. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2004/37/contents

Crimestoppers

Crimestoppers is an independent charity that gives you the power to speak up to stop crime, 100% anonymously. Whoever you are, wherever you live, from communities to companies.  By phone and online, 24/7, 365 days a year.  They also share advice on how to protect the people you care about from crime, so everyone can feel safe.  After receiving your call or a completed anonymous online form, they create a report that brings together all the information given, making sure it doesn’t contain any information that could identify you. Your report is sent to the relevant authority with the legal responsibility to investigate crimes, make arrests and charge people in order to bring them to justice. This could be your local police force or an agency such as the UK Border Agency or HM Revenue & Customs. You can call them on 0800 555 111 or you can pass information online using their simple anonymous online form – https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information
